Reflection

we have learnt a few things over the course of this project.

1. shopping in the summer for black clothes is not that easy

2. shopkeepers do not like you to take photos in their dressing rooms

3. shopping for the right thing that suits you is very difficult and tiring (especially when you are very picky)

4. it is important for you to look good and feel good in whatever you wear.

CHOSEN OUTFIT

we have decided on outfit 3!

(shoes are the same as the ones in outfit one. picture can't be uploaded)

we have decided to keep it simple and not accessorize. (don't attract to much attention at someone ELSE'S birthday celebration)

because:

even though is more expensive, save money hand-washing instead of dry cleaning.

outfit one is cheaper but we feel that the tank top is too casual

outfit two: if worn often, dry cleaning will cost a lot.

jersey material - comfortable.

simple and black - my favorite style.

Outfit 3

this model is also very tall so the skirt won't be as short and revealing on me :D here's the description found on the same website:

Outfit 2

this dress looks very short on the very tall model, but on me it would be a little longer, just above the knee maybe. it is formal, with short sleeves (YAY!) here is a description i got from the website.

This cap-sleeve dress features textured and metallic pinstripes. Crossover V neck and wrap detail at skirt. Oversized bow and double hook-and-eye closure at adjustable, satin-covered belt. Gathered elastic waist and ruched shoulders. Hidden side zip. Slip dress lining.

I have similar leggings like the one on the model.

Shoes will come in later (if we decide on this outfit)

Change of plan

i found some pretty and not-so-expensive dresses online with free shipping. as we didn't have enough time to go looking for clothes together in malls, we decided to come together and pick the dresses. so outfit 2 and 3 would be found online.

Outfit One

this outfit is basically made up of a black tank top and a frilly grey cotton skirt (both from New Look). it is extremely comfortable and not too formal yet not too casual (skirts that are not denimn scream FORMAL in your face. tank top yells casual). the shoes are existing in my wardrobe. black velvet ballet flats with a big bow at the toes.

big fitting room area. shop keeper didn't really care/didn't see that we were taking pictures inside. not much of a problem.
